Our organization adopts the principle of supply chain sustainability, aiming to work exclusively with business partners who are not only environmentally and socially responsible but also adhere to strong ethical values.
Accordingly, we expect the companies from which we procure products and services to:
• Hold certifications for Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems,
• Undertake initiatives aimed at reducing their carbon footprint during production and supply processes,
• Use natural resources efficiently and responsibly,
• Adopt waste management, recycling, and environmentally friendly production approaches,
• Operate in compliance with ethical principles, human rights, and professional business ethics,
• Provide fair working conditions and equal opportunities for their employees,
• Adhere to transparency and traceability principles throughout their supply chains.
Our organization has made it its policy to monitor, improve, and encourage collective progress by all stakeholders in the supply chain in their compliance with our sustainability goals.
This Supplier Code of Conduct forms an integral part of all purchase orders, framework agreements and contracts concluded with İzrek Otomotiv San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“İzrek Otomotiv”). By accepting any purchase order or signing any contract with İzrek Otomotiv, the supplier expressly acknowledges and agrees to comply with the requirements set forth in this document.
• No child labour (minimum age 15 or higher if required by local law – ILO Conventions 138 & 182)
• No forced, bonded or compulsory labour (ILO Conventions 29 & 105)
• Freely chosen employment – no retention of identity documents or deposits
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining (ILO Conventions 87 & 98)
• No discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, union membership or political opinion (ILO Convention 111)
• Working hours shall not exceed 48 hours per week + maximum 12 hours overtime; at least one day off in every 7 days
• Wages and benefits shall meet or exceed legal minimum standards and industry benchmarks
• No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed
• Provide a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with all applicable laws
• Implement an effective occupational health & safety management system (preferably ISO 45001 or equivalent)
• Emergency plans, fire safety, adequate lighting, ventilation and PPE shall be provided free of charge
• Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations
• Hold all required environmental permits and licences
• Actively reduce environmental impact (energy, water, waste, emissions)
• Implement an environmental management system (preferably ISO 14001 or equivalent)
• Prohibit the use of substances listed in the latest REACH SVHC and RoHS directives where applicable
• Report on Scope 1, 2 and (where possible) Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions upon request
• Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, extortion and embezzlement (UK Bribery Act, FCPA, Turkish Criminal Code)
• No gifts or hospitality that could influence or appear to influence business decisions
• Fair competition and antitrust laws shall be respected
• Accurate and honest business records shall be maintained
• Protect confidential information and intellectual property rights of İzrek Otomotiv and third parties
Suppliers shall adopt a policy to reasonably assure that tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG) in the products they supply do not directly or indirectly finance armed conflict or human rights abuses (in accordance with OECD Due Diligence Guidance and EU Conflict Minerals Regulation).

• İzrek Otomotiv reserves the right to verify compliance through self-assessment questionnaires (e.g. Sedex SAQ 5.0), announced or unannounced audits (SMETA or equivalent), and third-party verification.
• Suppliers shall fully cooperate and provide access to facilities, documentation and personnel.
• Non-compliance may result in corrective action plans, suspension of orders, or termination of the business relationship.
Suppliers are expected to continually improve their social, ethical and environmental performance and to support İzrek Otomotiv’s sustainability targets.
Acceptance Acceptance of any purchase order or contract with İzrek Otomotiv constitutes full acceptance of this Supplier Code of Conduct & Sustainability Requirements.
Child Labour and Young Workers
Child labour is strictly prohibited. The minimum employment age is 15 (or higher if required by local law). Young workers (under 18) shall not perform hazardous work or night shifts. All legal requirements regarding education, health checks and working hours for young workers shall be fully respected (ILO 138, 182).
Wages and Benefits All workers shall receive wages and benefits that meet or exceed legal minimum standards and industry benchmarks. Payment shall be made on time, in full and in legal tender. Deductions are only permitted as allowed by law and never as a disciplinary measure. Accurate wage records shall be maintained.
Working Hours Regular working hours shall not exceed 48 hours per week. Overtime shall be voluntary, not exceed 12 hours per week and be paid at a premium rate. Workers are entitled to at least one day off in every seven-day period and to all public holidays required by law.
Modern Slavery All forms of modern slavery including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, bonded labour, human trafficking and human trafficking are strictly prohibited. Workers shall be free to leave employment with reasonable notice and shall not be required to lodge deposits or identity documents.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining Workers have the right to form, join or not join trade unions and to bargain collectively without fear of retaliation, intimidation or harassment (ILO 87 & 98).
Non-Discrimination and Harassment No discrimination or harassment is tolerated on grounds of race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, nationality, ethnicity, marital status, political opinion, union membership or any other status protected by law.
Women’s Rights Equal opportunities and treatment shall be provided to women. Specific attention shall be given to maternity protection, prevention of sexual harassment and ensuring safe working conditions for pregnant women.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Suppliers shall promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and eliminate barriers to equal opportunity.
Rights of Minorities and Indigenous Peoples The rights of minorities and indigenous peoples shall be respected in accordance with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and local laws.
Health and Safety – (already detailed – you may add) Risk assessments shall be conducted regularly. All workers shall receive regular and recorded health & safety training.
Anti-Corruption and Anti-Money Laundering All forms of bribery, corruption, extortion and money laundering are prohibited. Facilitation payments are not allowed.
Data Protection and Data Security Personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and securely in compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g. GDPR, KVKK).
Financial Responsibility (Accurate Records) All financial and business records shall be accurate, complete and maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Disclosure of Information Information shall be disclosed in accordance with applicable regulations and prevailing industry practices.
Fair Competition and Anti-Trust Suppliers shall comply with all applicable competition and anti-trust laws.
Conflicts of Interest Suppliers shall avoid any situation that may create a conflict of interest and shall disclose any potential conflict immediately.
Counterfeit Parts Suppliers shall have systems in place to prevent the introduction of counterfeit parts and counterfeit parts into the supply chain.
Intellectual Property Intellectual property rights of İzrek Otomotiv and third parties shall be respected.
Export Controls and Economic Sanctions Suppliers shall comply with all applicable export control laws and economic sanctions.
Whistleblowing and Protection Against Retaliation A confidential and anonymous mechanism shall be provided for reporting concerns. No retaliation shall be taken against whistleblowers acting in good faith.
GHG Emissions Suppliers shall measure and report Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions and, where possible, Scope 3. Targets shall be set to reduce emissions in line with science-based targets.
Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Suppliers shall actively improve energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy.
Decarbonisation Suppliers shall develop and implement a decarbonisation roadmap compatible with the Paris Agreement (1.5 °C pathway).
Water Quality, Consumption & Management Water use shall be minimised, water sources protected and wastewater treated before discharge.
Air Quality Air emissions shall be monitored, controlled and reduced where possible.
Responsible Chemical Management Hazardous chemicals shall be identified, safely stored, handled and disposed of. Use of substances on the REACH Authorisation & Restriction lists shall be eliminated or minimised.
Sustainable Resource Management & Waste Reduction Resources shall be used efficiently. Waste shall be prevented, reduced, reused and recycled. Zero waste to landfill shall be the long-term goal.
